RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Friday, April 28. (Before J. Bathgate, Esq., K.M.)
Stuart v, M‘Kenzie.—Claim 12s, for work and labor done. After evidence had been taken his Worship gave judgment for plaintiff for Bs, with costs.
Judgment went for plaintiffs by default in the following cases :—Davidson v. Turner, claim L 3 10s 3d, for goods supplied ; Fulton v. J. H. Harding, L2l6s, for fourteen weeks’ rent of cottage ; and Bums v. J. Perry, L 5 10s 7d, for meat supplied. Bethune v. Lamont.—Claim L6O, for nineteen sheep alleged to be destroyed, and others injured, by defendant’s dogs. Mr A. Bathgate appeared for plaintiff; Mr M‘Keay for defendant. Evidence for plaintiff was taken yesterday, and that for the defence was heard to-day.—His Worship gave judgment for plaintiff for Ll7 10s and costs.
