THE SUEZ MAIL.
[By Cable.]
New Zealand Provincial (?) loans of LI 00,000 each have been successfully floated at LI 02 and upwards. On February 28 the English trading vessel Amalia, while off Gibraltar, was seized by the guard Acosta, and a prize crew put on board. The crew of the Amalia, however, overpowered their captors and carried them prisoners to Gibraltar, where they have been committed for trial on a charge of piracy. The Spanish Foreign Minister has demanded satisfaction from the British Government.
Several great jewel robberies have lately been committed at noblemen’s houses in the suburbs of London.
The general news by the Suez mail has been anticipated by cable.
