The s.s. Colima was successfully taken into the dock at high water to-day.
The Eingarooma for Melbourne via the Bluff, and the Easby, for Newcastle, via Sydney, took their departures this afternoon. The Albiou Company’s s.s. Tairaroa returned at six this morning from her usual trip to Timaru, and steamed alongside the ship Oamaru to discharge grain. - She loft Timaru, where she took ou board besides other cargo, 2,237 bags of grain, at 7.30 p.m. yesterday. The Phoebe, frem Northern ports, arrived alongside the railway pier at 9.15 this morning. She lc?t the Manuka at 1.30 p.m. ou the 15th, Taranaki at 8.30 a.m. on the 17th, Wellington at 4 p.m. on the lota, and Lyttelton at 1.30 p.m« yesterday. Ex* perienced fine weather throughout the trip. We thank Mr Barbor (purser) for report and exchanges.

Patea, April 18th.—The sale of the hull of the steamer Egmont brought LSOO at auction to-day. The gear brought L 95, Bundle, the Wanganui bridge contractor, was the purchaser of the vessel There is every possibility of getting her off. ' Aprins.-Arrived, H.M. Nymphefrom Hokitika, April 20.—The Otago, from Sydney, a secession of heavy easterly gains, with thick weather, the snu not having been visible for four days. She made the coast on the 18th to the south of Hokitika, but had to anchor onaccount ot a dense fog. Passengers Efor Port Chalmers, Mr Mentore, ana six in tho steerage: also tour tons of targo.
