Public Notices. AMERICAN WASHING FLUID. Saving nearly all the Wash-board Labor. For Sale by all Grocers. IT is only necessary to soak your clothes a short time in cold or warm water, wring out, and soap wristbands, collars and dirty or stained places. Have your boiler half filled with water, and when at scalding heat put in half a common tea-cup of the Fluid; stir, and put in your clothes; boil for half an hour, then rub b’ghtly through one suds only, rinsing well in the bluing water as usual, and all is complete. This fluid brightens instead of fading the colors in caflco. It is a great labor-saver, not on y saving the two rubbings which women give their clothes before boiling, and more than half of the soap, does not injure the clothes, but saves their wejr in two rubbings before boiling, and is a g< od article for removing grease from floors, doors and windows ; it also readily removes grease and tar from the hands. It does not rot clothes, but makes them wash more than half easier than the old way. It will be found to be the cheapest and most laborsaving article of household use that is now before the public.
