A NEAT REPLY.

The musical programme of a recent entertainment can be seen by the following sketch given by one of the company, who, in proposing a vote of thanks to the ladies and gentlemen who took parts, said Miss Livingstone, in a pretty overture, introduced “Two Cousins” from “The Bonnie Hills of Scotland,” who “Won’t tell Why?” the man who had the “Larboard Watch ” did not say “ Good-bye, Sweetheart,” consequently “ Simple Simon ” had to look for a letter in the Candle,” possibly from “ The Bride of Malahide,” who being “ Eat, Fair, and Forty ” used “ The Crow ” quill occasionally. At “ Love’s Request ” the “Curfew Bell” sounded, and put an end to “Jessie’s Dream," that “Never More ” would she meet the bold “ Gens d’armes,” who, being a Frenchman, asked “ Wilt Thou be my Bride,” and thus the matter ended by thanks being tendered to all.
