It is said that the Union andN.Z.S.N. Company's each wanted LSOO to tow the Colima from Lyttelton to Port Chalmers the other day. SHIPPING TELEGRAM. Auckland, April 15.—The barque Alieue, from Glasgow, had very heavy weather in the Southern Ocean. In one gale, which lasted three days, she lost her jibboom and mizen topmast, and in another, off Hokianga, again her jibboom and main topgallant mast. Almost all her cargo consists of machinery for the Auckland Waterworks.
