FAT STOCK EXHIBITION.
A meeting wok held at the Criterion Hotel this afternoon, lor the purpose of forming a society of gentlemen'favorable to a Christmas Fat Stock Exhibition; Mr John Roberts, M.l’.C., occupied the chair. It was agreed to form a society to he called the Otago Christmas Fat Stock Exhibition, and the following gentlemen we e elected a committee:—Messrs Jno. Stephenson, Jno. Maclean, H. Driver, Jno. Roberts, C. Smith, H. Campbell, T. Brydone, Jas. Shand, David Grant, James Allan, E. B. Cargill, G. M. Bell, J. F. Hitch ng, James Smith (of Greenfield), D. Corson, W. Cnmine, W. L. Philp, W. G. Maitland, P, Smith (Inch Clntha), Jno. Reid (Elderslie), Jno. Reid (Corner Bash), Hon. M. HolmeS, Sontter, M’Leod Orholl. Neil Fleming, F. D. Rich, and J. Douglas, Mr W. J. M. Laruoch was elected president, and Mr E. Menlove (Oamaru) vice-president.
