Drunkenness.— William Williams, .John Jones. Edwin Brighonse, and Mary Ann Bruce were each fined ss, or twenty-four hours; Eobort Robertson, 10s, with the usual alternative; Matthew Williamson and Charles Conway 80s each, or forty-eight hours, for being drunk in the streets on Sunday. Obscene Language.— Mary Ann Bruce, who has been several times convicted of drunkenness, was chained, upon toe information of Constable Mitchell, with using obscene language, ana’ was fined L 5, or one month’s imprisonment with hard labor. Vagrancy.— Alexander M’Farlane, charged with having no lawful risible means of support, was dis-' charged. Disobedience or Commands.— -James Mann, H. Lawson, J. Loftua, J. Sherridan, E. Hughes, J. Stoworfc. W. Martin, and John Syups, seamen belonging to the barque Theseus, on remand, for disobedience ef lawful commands ou the- 90th ult. Mr. Dennistoo appeared for tfaefaccnsed, and Mr Joyce for Captain Matthew. After hearing the 'evidence, •his Worship considered the case fully proved, and :senteneed each of the prisoners to four weers' imprisonment, with hard labor,
