At a special meeting of the Board yesterday afternoon, at which there were present Messrs (in the ehair), Davie, M'Neil, Beeves, Tewsley, and Tnrnbnll, the following business was transited His Henor the Superintendent declined to his honorarium because lie held his position at the Board as Superintendent of Otago.—Pilot Paions application .for 14 days' leave of abt sence was granted.—Mr M'Neil enquired whether ttere were any signs of Major Gordon’s report.
