L iwrenca. supposing it to be Enos, Massoniriana imported direct and flowered for the fir t rimein Ot >go. Being an admirer of this beautiful’c ass of pl mt, lat once made inquiries aliout this v lu-tb!e addition to out final treasure'!, and the f Rowing ia the result nf my inquiries. The plant shown was cerintheoides cor- nat i, propagated along with many others by me from the parent plant orginally impnrte t by Mr T. Dobbin, and was sold at Mr Wm. Arroli’s sale by M ‘Lan dress, Hepburn, and- Co. 'I he old plant was flowered by me last season, and by Mr Dobbie two years before, and although a most beautiful heath, it is by no means the best or rarest variety Ix Otago.— I am, &c., H. M.
