We to-day saw at Mr Darling’s, Princes street, a quantity of Adelaide grapes, which have been imported in kegapacked on a new method, by which the grapes are preserved . andbrought to raarket in excellent condition, while grapes packed in cases in the ordinary way, received by the same ship, have gone i bad, and are utterly worthless. Those in the . hegs retain all the freshness and. flavor of .. grapes newlyi gathered. The success thus achieved in packing should secure afifll and constant supply for this market at a moderate price.)
