THe amount ‘of revenue received at the Customhouse on goods cleared for .consumption this day was ; i 775 15s Id. . Messrs M'Londress, Hepburn, and Co.’s property soles to-day were largely attended. Of the Uansl Beserve leaseb for twenty-one years, Mr Winter’s former property, 23ft frontage, was sold at L 5 2a 6d per foot per annum; and Mr Farra’s, of 20ft, at L 4 lOsper annum—the purchaser in both instances being Mr G. W. Elliott. The other properties will be offered at some future day.’ The freehold site at the corner of Police and Bond streets, with 47ft frontage to Bond street and 76ft to Police street, fetched L 930; Mr D. M. Spedding being the purchaser. Three sections in Mosgief were sold at L4O per section.

Greasy, market easier; lambs’ wool unchanged. The sales comprised 107,600 boles; 40,000 have been taken for export. At our weekly sole held this .afternoon, we offered a small catalogue of wo 1, principally remnants of the season, which was taken by local buyers freely at td per .lb decline. Price catalogue annexed:—sM, 8 bags, 4d; greasy locks, do, black, 1 bale, BJd; merino and oi >oobred, 2 do, B|d; 88, scoured fleece, 2 do, 14Jd; Glen Nevis, 2 do, lOd, scoured locks; M, greasy cross-bred, 1 do, 8d; W over Waikawa, Leicester rams, 17Jd; EE, 2, merinos, BJd; do, 5, cross-bred, 9id; Y, cross-bred and merino, 4,BJd; B&A, 1,8 Id; GS, 2, cross-bred, BJd; AAA, pieces, IJd; Glen Nevis, merino, 19 bales. SJd; MM‘L, cross-bred, 10 bales, 9d; merino, 6 bales, 9d. ': ;
Sheepskins were well competed for; woolskins word lower in. price; pelts sold for money, 9d to Is 6d each; full wool merinos, 4s lOd. Hides, —Bfaiall supply. Green butchers’ sold 22s ; wet salted, in good condition, 4Jd per lb. Tallow.—None was offered. ~ _ Grain.—Wheat continues in fair demand; good to choice middling, 4s 6dto 4s 8d; inferior. Is 3d to 4s 4d. Oats are in better inquiry: new com is selling for immediate delivery, Is 8d to ls9d; old, Js IQd to 2s. Barley, no sales reported.
