The Otepopo Volunteers fired for district prizes on Friday; and one man in each set made excellent shooting. The Waikari Bangers competed at their range on Saturday merning at six o’clock, and. afternoon at four o’clock, for the Cup presented to the Company, by Mr Charles Flexman. The, weather was not good for first-class scores, a thick mist; overhanging the range, making it difficult to obtain a good sight of the target, but the winning score has seldom been beaten in the Colony, namely, 55 out of a possible 60; ranges, 200, 400, and 600 yards, class targets, standing at 200 yards) any position at 400 and’ 600; Fourteen men competed.
