PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Assessment for the ywar end( g 31st December, 1876, author sed by the “ (>tago Municipal Cor; orations Ordinance, 1865,” and the “Otago Municipal Corporatims Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, 1872,” of all buildings, lands, tenements, and hereditaments withm the City of Dunedin according to the full, fair, and estimated annual-rent at which the same might reasonably be expected to let from year to year, free of all usu .1 tenants’ rates and taxes, and deducting therefrom tUe probable average annual cost of the repairs, insurance, and other expenses (if any) necessary to maintwin the same in a state to command such rent, has been made.
