At a meeting of volunteer officers held at the Militia Office yesterday? it was decided that a ball should be given to the 'Otago representatives it the Colonial l£dze Firing ph their return, and Captain Stavely./Walesi, Beeves, and .lack were appointed to waft upon the Superintendent and Mayor and City Council to secure their co-operatioh'. It was also decided to institute a Weekly drill for commissioned and non-commissioned officers of-town and suburban companies
