To the Editor, Slß,—Julius Vogel in acknowledging th e . congratulations of the -Mayor on his return to the Colony, stated that ho purposed’ shMlt to visit Dunedin.- Now, nr, would it the ri ht thing to give him a suitable reception on his arrival here. The workiug-men of Dunedin, as also all other classes, are* mufch indebted to Sir Julius Vogel for: their present prosperity, and future prospects, and surely we ought not to be behiffi the working-men and citizens of Wellington inmahifeatiig appreciation of his Public Works policy, es also of the various benefits -which the ’Gtfldfiy has derived through his recent visit to the Home oormtry.
