requesting: the exclusive permission to remove stones from the Water of Leith. The: the general question of tramways is still under consideration, but your committee is not yet prepared to report herein. The surveyor has been instructed to examine the Temperance Hall and report as to what farther alterations may he required to be.,made in the, means of exit from the the slight alterations previously required and carried into effect not being considered ■ sufficient.
