THE MUNICIPAL SUBSIDY.
The City Corporation to-day received from the Colonial Treasury a cheque for L 1,519 19s lOd. being the first instalment of the Colonial subsidy tor 1875-6 of 6s 84 in the Li on the Cityrates. The second instalment of a «innilp» amount is payable to-morrow, and will bo received by the first steamer from the North.
