THE MAIN SOUTH ROAD.
To the Editor, Sir,—Some people may kugh if they like, but I want to growl, for it is not pleasant to bo thrown on one’s bead in the dark by a heap o:|boulders placed in the n.iddle of the highway as trap |for the passers-by on dark nights. This occurred to me last night whfeu coming past the Barracks at fCaveisham on the main roam and as the obstruction is not protected by a light I take this opportunity of warning' horsemen of the tender mercies of the road authorities.—l am, See., Caversham, February 24. NSQLEOT.
