Kitchenham. — Claim, Lll 6s Bd. Judgment was given for plaintiff; the amount tj be paid in instalments of los weekly. D;cks;on v. Monday.—Mr Mowatt appeared for ti c plaintiff; Mr E. Cook for the defendant, wbo admitted the debt, and was ordered to pay it at the rate of 20s per week, l urfc v, Tuer.—This adjourned case was resumed to-day; and after defendant had given evidence, h's Worship reserved judgment. Jack v. Cotton. —Claim, L 6 19s 9d, judgment summons for bread supplied. Defendant admitted owing the amount, but pleaded that he had be n very unfortunate lately, apd had been doing nothing for some time. Plaintiff stated that after repeatedly asking defendant for the amount, the latter coolly aski d him to have a drink instead.—Defendant said he happened to l ave a shilling in his p >cket whm he met plaintiff, so , asked him to have a drink.—His Worship adjourned the case for a fortnight, to enable plaintiff to call evidence to t rove that defendant had been horse-dealing recently. Sibbald v. Logan.—Mr E. Cook appeared for plaintiff; Mr Stout for defendant. —Com* sel for defendant urged that sufficient particulars bad not been furnished in the demand, thou hj defendant had written to plaintiff, sin e r -oeiving the summons, asking for full particulars.' —Mr Cook said -he particulars must be within d Lmlant’s own knowledge—be oust know what money he had collected f r plaint ff.—Toe cas6' was adjourned for three weeks to enable plaintiff to furnish particulars.
