Counsel did not accuse def- ndant of aiding and abetting Price in bis f lonious act, but In hj id that def ndant w..s the proper person for plaintiff lo recover the value of the horses from.—Mr G. B. Barton contended that hisclent could not be proceeded against, but that Co >p r, who had possession of the horses now, was liable.—To save time the report of the evidence given in the Police Court case yesterday was read and taken as evidence in this action.— His Worship reserved judgm nt.
