SCARLET FEVER AT PORT CHALMERS.
We regret to hear that a second case of ;scarlet fever has broken, out in the family of iMr, Kingstreet, who resides just outside of the boundary of Port Chalmers, in the Har■lington district, but, to counterbalance this unwelcome intelligence, we are told that the first case is progressing; favorably, and Mr Kingstreet's residence being in an isolated situation, there is little fear of contagion. !Dr Drysdalef,- wjio is attending the fMnilyiis" ! perfectly satjsfied'.with the manner in which ;his directions rehvtayie to the use of. disinfec.'. tants are being carried out. Mr Kingstreet :has separated himself from his family, and [occupies a house apart from them.
