THE BOARD OF HEALTH.

A meeting of the Board of Health was held to-day; present, the Superintendent (in the chair), Messrs Reid and Davie. The Health Officer’s report on the arrival of the Corona, with typhoid fever on board, and the report by the master of the vessel, were read, after which it was resolved, “That the whole of the steerage passengers be removed to Quarantine Island, there to have their clothing and bedding thoroughly cleansed ; ship bedding and clothing of cabin passengers and crew to be thoroughly cleansed, and to be reported on by health officer before being admitted to pratique.”
