The principal scores made the Auckland Cadets in the firing for District Prizes were Mills, 60; Moulden, 55 ; Meares, : 63 ; Dodds, 47; Hammond, 44, Boyd, 39. Poor scoring at the longest range seems‘to furnish the true cause of the “ nmlancholy result ” of the Auckland firing.
