Maori arrived alongside! the new jetty at 7.30 this mornings, with four pas- - sengers and a full cargo, from Timaru; via Oamaru * She left Port Chalmers at 8.15 p.m. on the 31st nit \ and arrived at Timaru at 6 a.m, neat day* dig-' charged: 135 tons general cargo, and left again for,' Oamaru at 7.15 p.m. the same day, and arrived there at 1 a.m. next morning; took on hoard 321’ bales of wool, 121 sacks of grain, and other cargo 1 &ud left at midnight -for Port Chalmers, Experienced S.W. winds and thick weather, with 1 heavy head sea, from Oamaru. , Messrs M'Meckan, Blackwood’s s.s. Omeo, from Melbourne, via the Bluff, arrived alongside the Bailway Pier at 8.30 this morning. She brings 30 passengers and 120 tons of cargo for this port. She' left Melbourne at 3.20 p.m. on the 27th nit.: bad bgbt N.E. winds, and passed Wilson’s Promoo tor vat 6.30 a.m,, and Kent’s Group at 1.20 p.m. next nad fresh N.E. winds and fine weather, sad made the Solanders at 7.15 p.m. on the Ist inst • arrived off the Bluff at 3 a.m. on the 2nd,'and ran mat 5,40 a.m.; discharged, and left again for Port Chalmers at 6 p.m.; had moderate W.S.W. winds to arrival, as above.
