Tuesday, January 25 (Before V. Fyke Ksq., and H. Bastings, Esq., J.F.’b) Drunkenness.— John Hotaon was lined 40s, in default fourteen days’ imprisonment. Larce-y as a Bailee. His mother was told to apply the rod to-her son, and as she promised to do so the charge was dismissed. A Disorderly Cabm n.- -Thos. Barry was charged with riotous behaviour. Defendant assaulted a young woman named Mary Ann Ford in the vestibule of the theatre. . e had also been very abusive to Constable Conn ; and it was stated that he had been a source of annoyance at the theatre for the last twelve months, as he only went there when drunk. e was fined 40s and costs, in default, fourteen days imprisonment.—lnspector Mallard: Per haps your Worships would also make an order that defendants conduct should be brought under the notice of the Corporation, he being a licensed cabman. Air Pyke ; I think it desirable the matter should come before the Inspector at all events. Obscene Language.- David Lewis, a young man, was charged with using profane language in Princes street.—lnspector Mallars said that
