POET CHALWEE.v, ARRIVED. January 22.—Jane Hannah, schooner, 50 tons, Mason, from Havelock. SAILED. January 22.—Maori, s.g., 118 tons, Malcolm, for Oamarn. The schooner Jane Hannah, with a cargo of timber from Havelock, arrived yesterday afternoon and sailed up to Dunedin. The Union Company’s s.s. Hawea arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington at nine o’clock this morning, anti was to leave again at 3 p.m. She will therefore be in Port Chalmers early to-morrow. The heavy N.E. gale which has prevailed for the last two days having moderated this morning, enabled the ship Calypso to be taken out of the Graving Dock and moored alongside the new pier, in readiness to receive cargo for London. The ship Waimate was immediately taken into dock for the purpose of being cleaned and recanted. SHIPPING TELEGRAM.
