COLONIAL PRIZE FIRING, The firing for representatives was continued by the North Dunedin Rifles, who fired at Pelichet Bay yesterday afternoon, under charge of Captain Stavely. There was fine weather and good scoring, as the following shows:—

The City Guards fired at Waikari this morning. The weather was magnificent. Captain Wales’s score is an excellent one,* and is the best ever made by a member of any Dunedin corps. Lient. Doulgas made 26 at 200 yards and 28 at 400 yards. In the last range he was unfortunate in making three successive misses. The scores are appended : r

Only eight men have now to fire, viz. three from Clutha, four from Bruce, and one from Waikouaiti. The five highest of the thirty represent Otago at the Intercolonial meeting. Captain Stavely leaves for the Clutha to-morrow afternoon. The Clutha Rifles fire on Friday, aud Tokomairiro on Saturday. The scores made iu the two competitions so far are :
