Taupo, with seventy, nine passengers from the Northern ports, arrived alongside the new pier at 0.55 p.m. She left Onehunga at 545 p.m. on tho 11th; arrived at Welliimton at 3.30 p.m. on the 14th, and Lyttelton at 6.50 p.m. on Saturday. The s.s. Taiavoa was taken out of the GravimDock this morning and moored alongside tho hulk DouJuau. The ship Calypso was removed from the railway pier tins morning to the head of the Graving Dock, m readiness to bo taken in to bo cleaned and her bottom recocted with anti-fouling composition. The barque Kedar, for Newcastle, iu ballast, was towed to sea this morning by tho lug Geelon^. Messrs M Mcckan, Blackwood’s fine s.s, Ringarooma, with the New Zealand portion of the Sxmz mail, ar ived from Melbourne, via the Bluff, at 4 30 this mor iug. The Otago portion of the mails were immediately laudcl, and conveyed to. Dunedin by special, train.
