THE PRESBYTERIAN SYNOD.
To-day’s Sederunt, The Synod met at one o’clock to-day; present—The Moderator and forty-five members. Tho Eev, Mr Mackay brought up a lengthy report suggesting various alteiati ns in the practice of the Church, and after oareful’consideration they were agreed to and ordered to be printed. Dr. Copland moved that . the proposed amendments on the Interim Act be referred to a committee, consisting of the following members of the Synod : —Clergy : Revs, Messrs Will. Banuerman, St olio, Waters, Todd, Gow. Dr. Stuart, and the mover. Udders: Messrs King, Begg, Brown, \V. D. Stewart, and Capt. Thomson. Tho overture on Church erections was being considered when we went to press.
