The City Council having purchased the Dunedin Gasworks, and having arranged to assume the conduct of tho gas supply business, as from and after Ist January, 1875, invites applications for the following appointments necessary for the proper working of the department:— 1, Gas Engineer, in general charge of the works, Ac, Salary at the rate of I 400 per annum, with house, fuil, and lighting. 2, Clerk and Accountant for the gas supply business ; Town Clerk’s Department. Salary at the rate of L2OO per annum. 3, Collector and Clerk for the gas supply business ; Town Clerk’s Department. Salary at tho rate of L2OO per annum. 4, Office Youth, for the same, department.
