AS the honor to announce that he will give A SACRED CONCERT ON CHRISTMAS NIGHT, AT THE QUEEN’S THEATRE. On which occasion he will be assisted by a number of favorite Vocalists, in addition to a large and efficient Rand and Chorus, two harmoniums and two pianos. The City CouDcil having purchased the Dunedin Gasworks, and having arranged to assume the conduct of the gas supply business, as from and nicer Ist January, 1875, invites applications for the following appointments necessary for the proper woiking of the department 1. Gris Engineer, in general charge of the ■works, &c. Salary at the rate o c ! 400 per annum, with house, fuel, and lighting. 2. Cloik and Accountant for the gas supply business; Town Clerk’s Department. Salary at the rate of L2OO per annum. 3. Collector and Clerk for the gas supplj business ; Town Clerk’s Department. Salary at the rate of L‘2oo per annum. 4. Office Youth, for the same department. Salary at the rate of L.50 per annum.
