Mr Kobert Uilmour, of Southland, writing out by the last mail to a friend ia Invercargill,. mentions tho face, and says : •* This prejudice continues very strong, especially am ngst the very classes to whom it would bj most beneficial. As a specimen of the means used to arouse and stimulate this prejudice, I send the enclosed scrap, clever in its way, and evidently the production of some poetical butcher."
