RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT PORT CHALMERS.
Tuesday, November 24, (Before T. A. Mans ford, Esp, R.M.) Judgment was given for plaintiffs in the following oases John Puller v. David Carey, claim Ll3 6s 9d. Defendant pleaded a set-off of 1,3, and paid L2 17s 9d into Court. The Bench pave judgment for L 5 11s 2d, including the L2 17s 9d paid into Court, and 2ls costs—each party to pay his own witnesses. Samuel' Carey y. Isaac Smith. —Judgment for plaintiff L 7 Is, to be paid by weekly instalments of 15s, the first payment to commence on the 29 th inst.
