WALKER intends to abolish the monopoly so long held by one or two houses in the Furnitura and Furnishing Business, by opening those commodious premises adjoining his present drapery establishment with a Large and Varied Stock of Household Furniture, comprising : i. ining and Drawingroom Suites, Hairseated Chairs and Couches, Cheffoniers, Wardrobes, &c. Also a large assortment of Colonial Furniture made by the largest and best house in the Trade, with special instructions to make every article of its kind in the best possible manner. Also a large assortment of Brussels Tapestry, Kidder, and other Carpets. Floor Cloths in all widths, and laid by experienced bands ; curled hair and woollen Hock for beds sold in any quantity. Spring beds mads to order, Ladies’ woolwork made up by a tradesman of forty years’ experience, having engaged old Mr Williams, of George street north, so long and favorably known in the cabinet and upholstery business. Drawingroom suites restuffed and polished equal to new. Repairs executed with dispatch. On account of being so far from the centre of the town, thus saving the enormous rent which must be paid, A.
