The amount of rerenuo received at the Customhouse on Roods cleared for consumption this day w.vs T. 620 14s 4d. A statement has been published, showing in detail the revenue of the Colony under its several heads, and the Provinces in which, or in respect of which, it was collected, during the quarter ended 25th September last. The total revenue is £300,236 Os 6d, of which Customs give £208,809 17s 9.1 ; stamp duties, .£-24,107 13s 4d; postal, £10,701 4s 4d; telegraphic, £13,804 7s ; judicial fines and fees, £8,138 4s 9d; registration and other fees, £8,779 12s 2d; railways, £8,551 8s lid; and incidental, £17,223 12s 3d. Of this the Provinces contributed—Auckland, £GB,. r )ot Os; Taranaki, £2,937 10s 2d; Wellington, £58,391 6s 3d ; Hawke’s Bay, £11,971 2s 7d ; Nelson, £19,088 2s 3d ; Marlborough, £3,014 11s Id ; Canterbury. £57.828 Os lid; Westland, £12,987 15s 5d ; and Otago, £105,043 14s Bd. Under the head general there was received £25,809 5s 2d. The ‘ Gazette ’ contains amended banking returns. The average amounts of liabilities and assets of the Union Bank of Australia within New Zealand during the quarter ended 30th June, 1875, wore : Liabilities, L 1,109,853 8s 9d ; assets, L 1,014,919 13s 4d.
