WASTE LAND BOARD

The weekly meeting of the Board was held j to day. Present—The Chief Commissioner, Messrs Butterworth, Clark, Strode, and Reid. Douglas, sections 3li, 37, 38, 39, and 111, block 5, Shofover, and sections 117, block 3, &c. ; Messrs A. H. ><oug!as and A. Cray, sections 33, 34. and 3S, block 1, Mid-Waka-tipu ; Mr Ihoaias pain, section 14, block 1, Tiger Hill; \f r W. H. Miller, section 48, block 4, Table Hill; Mr George Ludeman, sections 73, 13, and 13, b'ock 4 Shotover. Mr Luße Welsh pplied to purchase pari of section 30, block 1, Akatore. Ranger to report. The following application to purchase land under agricultural leases was approved : Mr H. H. W. Carsteno, section 1, block 2 Shotover. Mr F. G. Dalgety applied to be allowed to purchase fifty-fi e acres of land on run 322, adjoining his homestead, for a cultivation paddock. Granted under clause 150 of the Act of 1872. Mr R. Clements applied to purchase section 2, block 17, and secti >n 97, block 5, bhotover, under deferred payment lease. Postponed, pending opinion of the Judge.
