PUBLIC NOTICE. ~g Clauses of the Otago Harbor Jioard Empowering Act, 187~>, for t general information:— Clause 11.—No goods shall be permitted to be removed from any warehouse quay wharf or other place where the same may hare bean stored landed or discharged untii a receipt or other authority be produced from the said Board, or by some officer or servant of tbe Board authorised for that purpose, of the pay* .i ent or satisfaction of such harbor improvement rate aud all other rates duties and charges lawfully levied by the said Board. Clause 13. Any goods wares or merchandise left "on the wharves quays docks or in tbe sheds of the Board may, unless the same bo removed within the period or periods provided by the regulations of the said Harbor Board, be sold as herein provided ; but no such sale shall be effected except upon notice in writing being personally given to the owner of such goods wares or merchandise, or if such owner shalli>e unknown, then notice shall be given by advertisement for six consecutive days in a newspaper circulating in the City of Danedin, and if for the space of six days after the giving of such notice, if given personally as aforesaid, or, if such notice shall be published, then, at the oxpinstion of the lßst day on which such notice shall be published. All saleß shall be held by public auction, and the moneys realised from the sale, after deducting all the dues expenses and charges chargeable against such goods wares and merchandise, shall be paid into the public account of the Colony, and shall ge to and formlfpart of j, the trust fund, and ba dealt with accordingly. The term "owner"' used in this section shall be deemed to include consignee and any authorised agent of suoh owner. And it is hereby further notified that Mr W. B. Marsh, Collector of Jetty Dues, h&B been appointed under the seal of the Boatd to carry out the provisions of the said Clause 11; and that Mr John L.
