The three-masted schooner Lochiel, having finished discharging her Dunedin portion of augur, was removed from the railway pier and anchored in tho stream this morning. Messrs Houghton and Co.’s fine s.s. Express left tho Bluff at 4.30 p.m. yesterday. Had fresh easterly winds along the const, and arrived at 7 a.m. this morning. After coaling alongside the hulk Eak, she steamed up to Dunedin, The N.Z.S.S. Co.'s s.. Phoebe arrived from tho Northern Ports at ten o’clock this morning. She left the Manakau at 4 p.m. on tho 26th ult, called at Taranaki, Nelson, Pictou. Wellington, and Lytelton, which bitter port she left at 1-30 p.m. on the 4th. We thank her purser (Mr Barbor) for report and exchangee. Messrs M'Meckau, Blackwood’s fine s.s. Ota-o, from Melbourne, via West Coast and Northern Ports, arrived alongside the railway pier at 0.30 this morning. She left Melbourne at 2.30 p.m on the 23rd ultimo ; Wellington at 10.30 a.m. on tho 2nd inst. ; and Lyttelton at 4 p.m. on t* e 3rd. Called at Kaknnni, where she loaded grain the next morning, and arrived at the Hoads at midnight. The Otago left again this afternoon for Melbourne, via the Bluff. ENGLISH SHIPPING. The Crusader arrived nt Loudon nu September 5, and tho Oamarn four days later. On September 23 the Waitura sailed for tho Bluff; on fho 2nd (be Wnimate, and on the 20th tho fiaikaia, both for Port Chalmers. There were on tho berth for Otago in September the following vessels — Wiltshire, Corona, Mary Galbraith, Clive, Orari, Nelson, and Jessie Osborne, SHIPPING TELEGRAMS, Melbodrse.—Arrived: October 27, Fleur de Maurice, from Dunedin.
