Note.—The Post Office at Lovell’s Flat has been re-opened at the Railway Station. In future an extra mail will be despatched dally to Balclutha, closing at chief office at 3 p.m. An extra mail will also be despatched to Lawrence every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, closing at 3 p.m.; arriving every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night. Mails for 'laieri districts and Waipori will, in future, be closed at 3 p.m. ARCH. BASE, Chief Postmaster, Chief Post Office, Dunedin, October 26,1 -75, The steamer Albion is expected to leave the Bluff at 11 a.m. on Thursday, the 28th instant. Telegrams for the Australian Colonies or Europe via Java Cable, will be received at the Telegraph Office, Dunedin, for transmission to Bluff, up till 10 a.m. of the 28th instant. The steamer Eingarooma is expected to leave Hokitika at 8 p.m. on Thursday, the 28th instant. Telegrams for the Australian Colonies or Europe, via Java Cable, will be received at the Telegraph Office, Dunedin, for transmission to Hokitika up till 6 p.m. of the 28th instant.
