Stephens- m, and Do v, William Ure White, of Tokomairiro, 1.49 19i 81, cattle sold ; Bennett ami Jamieson v. Merry, 1.7 8s 6d, clothing supplied; 'Otligo Daily Times’ and ‘Witness’ Dompany v. Wm Ore White, L 72 3b 4d, on. a dishomored Sromisuoiy note; Watson and Gow v. D. I‘Kae, L2llos, dray sold. Bostbotham v, Sinnamon.—Thif was a fraud summons on acldm of L 44. OChe case had been frequently adjourned, but defendant always failed to appear. Mr kewis, whoap pea-ed Dr plaintiff, now applied that the Court should pronounce an order for the payment of the debt, in default that defendant should be •.i ntenced to a term rf imprisonment.—His M or-hip hubl that in defendant's al jaence, and in the wo.ole ciroiuu Manets, there w as a strong presumption against him.
