Per Taranaki, on Saturday, October 23, as under ■. — For Northern Ports, America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, via Son Francisco, at 1.20 p.m. Late letters bearing one additional single rate may be posted until 1.50 p.m. For issue of money orders and posting of registered letters and newspapers at 11.30 a.m. Northern Pouts of New Zealand,— Per Riugarooma, on Saturday, October 23, at 1.40 p.m. Northern Ports of New Zealand, —PerTaupo, on Saturday, October 23, at 1.40 p.m. Timaru, Ltttelton, Christchurch, an» Westland.—Per Beautiful Star, on Tuesday, October 26, at 1.50 p.m. Per Albion, on Wednesday, October 27, as under: — Direct mails for India, China, Japan, Penang, Singapore, Manilla, Aden, Mauritius, the British, French, and Austrian Post Offices at Alexandria, Malta, Gibraltar, Brindisi, France, Ac., at 12 noon. For New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania, at 1 p.m. For Southland, Victoria, London, via Southampton, and via Brindisi, and for correspondence for the Continent of Europe, Ac., sent in London mails, at 1.30 p.m. For issue of money orders, and posting of registered letters and newspapers, at 11.30 a.m. Late letters, with one additional single rate per letter, may he posted as follows: For New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania, at 1.20 p.m. For Southland, Victoria, London, via Southampton, nnd via Brindisi, and for correspondence for the Continent of Europe, Ac., sent in London mails, at 1,56|p.m. Note. —The Post Office at Lovell’s Flat has been re-opened at the Railway Station. In future an extra mail will be despatched daily to Balclutha, closing at chief office at 3 p.m. An extra mail will also be despatched to Lawrence every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, closing at 3 p.m.; arriving every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night.
