The weekly meeting of the Waste Land Board was held this morning ; present—the Chief Commissioner, Messrs Butfcerworth, Clarke, and Strode 1 The Lawrence District Officer reported on 1 MrJ. Mr Scrymgeour applied for a lease of run ■ 463, under the written couditious of sale, v z. : at an annual premium of L 32 10s. Agreed to. contingent on dr Martin either acc pling the lease or refusing the same. Messrs Ureig and Turnbull applied for permission co purchase sixty-nine acres, balance of pre emptive right on run 3l)3B.
