The ketch Edith Reid arrived at the Heads this morning from Hokitika, which port she left on the 24th September. The schooner Jane Hannah, from Timarn, hound for Gatlin’s River, the ketch Franklin Belle, for Gatlin's River, and tho brigantine Sea Gull, for the Bbiff, -iTQ at anchor at tho Heads waiting for a shift of wind. Tim s.s. Shag left Dunedin at 9 p.m. lost evening and proceeded as far as the Heads, where she remained until four o'clock this morning.
