The steamer Shag arrived yesterday from Mocraki and Sang Point, and passed up to Dunedin. Mcs-rs M’Meekan, Black wood, and Co.’s s.h. Aliiambra arrived from Mclbouvue, via the Bluff, at seven this morning. She lett Sandridgo ut 2.15 p.m. on the 2nd and arrived ut the Bind at 11a.m. on tin 7th ; left again at (5 p.m. and arrived as above. Wc thank her purser for report and Melbourne £ charges. Jane. The brigantine Sea Gull, for tbo Bluff, sailed this morning as fur ns flu? Heads, whore she anchored, waiting for a shift of wind. The kcicii ElizaM’Phee, for Catlin’s River, sailed down from Dunedin this morning, and anchored off Carey’s Bay. The ship Waimea was removed this morning from the new pier, and moved off the head of the Graving Dick in readiness for being taken in to be cleaned nnd recoated. The cutter Nautilus came down from Dunedin ’his morning, and hauled alongside the ship Invercargill for transhipments for the Coast. Tim N.Z.S S. Co’s s.s. Taranaki, with 85 tons of cargo and n number of pa-isen ‘-rs, took ucr departure this afternoon from the railway pier. The Union Co.’s s.s Taupo took her departure from -Tio railway pirn- this afternoon wiih cargo and passengers f«i the Northern Ports, Tti'i ship Portland, with a cargo of grain for Melbourne, will be towed to sea this evening by the tug Geelong, The schooner Jessie Nicol came down this morning from Dunedin, and continued her course to Kaipara without stopping at the Port.
