Mr T. ivf ‘Farlane appl-ed to purchase sections 24 and 25, block 2, Glenken ch, or that they be re-offered as lands of special value. To be re-advertised for sale by auction, up set price as befare A letter was read from the Invercargill L nd District auctioneer as to the sab: of runs 413 and 483. Previous declai m adhered to. Mr J. Ander on app iccl for a renewal of tease of see ion 115, block 5, Otepopo, at a rental of LlO per annum, Approved. Government recommended that the township of Purakauui be shortly offered fur sale at upset price of L 5 per section. Approved Mr T. Pollock stated that he is wil ing to relinquish his claim to tho Popotunoa hush reserves in the course of three or four weeks, deferred to the Provincial Solicitor, wi b a request that Mr Pollock bo immediately ejected. Mr W, W. White asked on what terms the Board would allow him a lease of the lignite reserve, block 1, WaiUaka. Applicant may lease two acres at LI per ao e per annuna, under clause 01, Mr C. Finlayson, a deferred payment applicant, asked if he might admit a partner if uccessful in balloting for the land applied for by him. The Board unanimously decided that ho could not do ao, Mr Connell, for Mr R. P. Sinclaia, asked the sanction of the Board to his withdraw al ‘rom application to occupy on deferred payment section 14, block 1, Chatton district, and to have bis deposit returned. Applicant may withdraw, but the Board declined to give up his deposit.
