[By Teleguaph.] (From our oion Correspondent.) Wellington, Oct>bers. There is quite a string of amendments to the Representation Bill. Mr M'Gillivray wants the Riverton district extended so as to include the Oropuki Goldfield. Mr Mervyn ■wants Waikaia to include a portion of the Dunstan ; Mr Stafford to divide present Tirnaru into two districts; and Mr Andrew will propose another member for tire W'aikato. On tire San Francisco contract, Sir Stafford wdl move that it be approved, subject to snob modifications as may be agreed upon, whereby the subsidy shall not exceed L-10,000. Mr T. Kelly will mo .e a further amendment (1.) That the route lie substituted without Coastal service, provided that the cost does not exceed 1.000 yearly. (2 ) In the event of such modification being agreed to, that tenders be invited for performing the Interprovincial delivery of mail. An extensive ffight of members’ families, per ■ a. Taupo to-day, betokens the approaching close of the session.
