THE FLAT MUNICIPALITY.
To the Editor. Fin,—l am glad to s ‘-e that we are likely to have a united Municipality on the Flat. If the Government cannot see their way to include all the towns lip*, without consulting the residents when counter-petitions have been got up against tin- M imieipality, I have no doubt that a large majority will sign in favor of it. We are nil working men, and as then i« a great amount of improvement required, I trust that each and evciyotie will :eo that it is to hi* interest to demand that the whole district lie incorporated. Tins will improve our property and afford employment to everyone m eding It. I am .sorry to see that a great many Lave been misled by a cry raised by pcsons whose interest it is to oppose a Municipality. Let ns act unitedly, and pay no attention to outsiders, and our township will be only second t<> Dunedin.—l am, &0,, A Worktxc: Max. South Dunedin, October 1.
