THE SICKNESS ON BOARD THE INVERCARGILL.

A meeting of the Board of Health was held to-day, at whi- hj were present—The DeputySuperintendent, the Providcial Treauirer, the Commissioner of Public Wo ks, Mr H. S, Fish, jun , M. P.G., and Dr Brown. The Health Officers’ report on tho illness amongst the immigrants on board the ship Invercargill, which arrived yesterday from Glasgow', was fully considered ; and it was decided that the single men and women may at once land and coma up to town. The bedding and clothing of the invalids is to be thoroughly cleansed and fumigated, and if this be done to the satis "action of tho Health Officers the remainder of the ; nssengers will be allowed to leave the ship on Tuesday next.
