Yebstcr, W., Great King^trect The Council regret that, for financial considerations, it hai been found desirable to fix the number of members at thirty instead of forty, as proposed, and that thus itjw ill be impossible to accept the services of all the gentlemen who have volunteered to form the new Brigade, i h.e depviiation from the Volunteers having provisionally arranged terms and conditions with the Council, an adjourned meeting between the Council’s Fire Brigade Committee and the Members of the New Brigade, will be held at the City Council Chambers on Monday, September instant, at 7.30 tun., in order finally to settle the draft agreement, and to do other incidental business.
